My current QAL is with Christa Quilts. She is doing a DIY. She is using Seascapes by Moda. I am using Basics by BasicGrey. I have added other dark fabrics. I will keep you posted on the progress.
I am sure you recognize these little pieces for Flying Geese. Heartspun Quilts and Pam Buda is hosting a Prairie Pockets quilt along. It looks adorable and the pieces are small, 2 in size using leftovers. My used pieces make better doll clothes than prairie pockets. So I would like to learn from her posts first making my sizes a little larger. If you look close I had to cut the other side of these blocks due to the nap. Learn something every day.
I am uploading pictures via my phone. My blogger dashboard is not showing ablility to upload from my computer. So I upload on my phone then edit. Hope I figure it out. These are fabrics I began with. One side is soft like flannel and the other is woven. Both sides look the same. I am not sure what the fabric is called. If you know the name please let me know and thank you if you do. It stretches so will need to be very careful.
